Disclaimer
Intelligent dose reduction (with optimized radiation filters) compared to Orthoscan 1000-0004. In continuous mode, users will not attain the stated levels of cumulative dose reduction that are possible with pulsed fluoroscopy. In clinical practice, the use of IDR may reduce patient dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location, and clinical procedure. A radiologist and a physicist should be consulted to determine the appropriate dose to obtain the diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task.
The Orthoscan TAU 1512 is approved in Germany for imaging of hand, foot and elbow.
